- None — cancelling takes effect straight away. Annual plans paid monthly carry a 50% early-termination fee on the remaining term after the first 14 days.

- What happens after you cancel
- Adobe charges an EARLY TERMINATION FEE and it is the whole story here. On an ANNUAL PLAN PAID MONTHLY — which is what most people are on without realising, because it looks like a monthly plan — cancelling after the first fourteen days costs FIFTY PER CENT OF THE REMAINING CONTRACT, taken at once. On an annual plan paid up front there is no fee but no refund. On a genuine month-to-month plan you can leave freely. Adobe shows the fee on the confirmation screen. Read it. If the number is large and your renewal is close, waiting for the renewal date and cancelling then can cost nothing instead. Within the first fourteen days you can cancel for a full refund on any plan. Acrobat Reader stays free, so you keep opening and printing PDFs. What stops is editing, converting, combining, e-signing and the cloud storage — so download anything held in Adobe's cloud before the plan ends.
