- Confirmation email.
- What happens after you cancel
- Ahrefs bills in advance and does not refund the unused part of a period, so the only timing that helps you is cancelling before the next renewal rather than just after it. Credits and report allowances do not roll over — anything unused in the current period is simply gone, so spend it. Access runs to the end of the period already paid for. Your projects and their historical data stay in the account if you come back, but you cannot read them while the subscription is lapsed, so export the audits and rank-tracking history you need first. Extra users are billed on top of the plan. If money is still leaving after you cancel, an additional seat is the usual reason.

What else are you paying for?
Find possible recurring subscriptions in your bank statement. Cancel OS reads a statement export you give it and flags the charges that look recurring, for you to confirm.
