Open My Settings, then Cancel
Select the licence to cancel and confirm
Backups are deleted after cancellation

- What happens after you cancel
- Restore anything you still need BEFORE you cancel, not after. Backblaze is a backup service rather than a place files live, and its own cancellation documentation does not say how long a backup survives once the subscription lapses — so do not count on it being there. Deleting the account is worse and immediate: the confirmation destroys the backup irreversibly, with no window to change your mind. Worth knowing while you still have the plan: a file deleted from your computer is kept in the backup for 30 days by default and then removed from there too, so this was never an archive of things you have already thrown away.
