Cancel or downgrade the plan

- ClickUp bills PER SEAT, and seats are the usual reason a bill does not drop when you expect it to — guests, deactivated members still holding a seat, and a second workspace all keep charging. Go through the members list, not just the plan. Downgrading keeps your tasks and spaces but caps the features that teams quietly depend on: unlimited storage, custom fields beyond the free allowance, dashboards, timelines and the automation limits. Views built on paid features stop rendering the way they did. Export what matters first. An annual plan runs to the end of its term rather than ending immediately, and ClickUp does not refund the unused part.
