- Licences you have already taken are permanent — content already licensed and used stays legal after the subscription ends, and the licence record in your account is the proof. Unused downloads in the current period do not carry over. Getty sells two very different things under one name. Self-service subscriptions can be cancelled from the account area. Larger or negotiated agreements are handled by an account manager and generally require notice before the renewal date, which is set in the agreement rather than by a standard rule — find your renewal date and read what your contract says about notice, because that is what decides whether you are leaving this year or next. iStock is Getty's other brand and is a separate subscription. Cancelling one does not touch the other.
