Open Settings, then Copilot
Select Cancel Copilot
Confirm — access runs to the end of the billing period

- What happens after you cancel
- You keep the paid features until the end of the current billing cycle, and then the account is downgraded to Copilot Free rather than switched off — so completions do not vanish entirely, they drop to the free allowance. There is no refund for the unused part of the cycle. Check which Copilot you are actually paying for. A seat assigned by an employer or organisation is billed to them and cannot be cancelled from your personal settings; only a personal subscription lives there. Nothing happens to your repositories, and nothing you have already committed is affected.
