- Loom links are usually embedded somewhere — in documentation, in a handover, in an email to a client — and that is what makes this one worth planning. The free tier limits both how many videos you can keep and how long each can be, so videos beyond the limit become unavailable and every link pointing at them stops working. Download what matters before the plan ends. Loom lets you export videos while you are still on the paid plan. Transcripts, the custom branding, viewer analytics and the editing tools are paid features and revert. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, and an annual plan runs out its year rather than ending early. On a team plan, removing a paid seat is a different action from cancelling the workspace — check which one you actually need.
