Cancelling McFIT

McFIT requires the cancellation in writing. The app is the quickest route.
Do it yourself, in your own name
McFIT only accepts a cancellation from the member. Anyone doing it for you needs written authorisation.
Check your notice deadline in the app or on page one of your contract
Wait for BOTH confirmations
A confirmation of receipt and a confirmation of cancellation. Keep them.

- At least 28 days before your renewal date. Four weeks' notice, taking effect at the end of the minimum contract term rather than immediately.

- What happens after you cancel
- McFIT will not take a cancellation casually, and that cuts both ways. It has to be IN WRITING — through the McFIT app or the contact form — and it has to come from YOU: McFIT accepts a cancellation from the member personally, and anybody doing it on your behalf needs written authorisation. The notice period is four weeks and it runs to the END OF YOUR MINIMUM CONTRACT TERM, not from the day you ask. Your deadline and your end date are shown in the McFIT app and printed on the first page of your contract; check them before you assume you are leaving next month. Insist on both confirmations — receipt and cancellation — and keep them. With a written-notice contract, proof of the date is what settles any argument later. If you are leaving for a reason like illness or a move, McFIT will look at an extraordinary cancellation if you send evidence, though it is a goodwill decision rather than a right.
