Check who your MultiSport contract is actually with
The rules are set in the agreement between your employer and Benefit Systems, not in anything you signed. Your HR or benefits team can tell you the notice period and the cut-off date.
Resign through the eMultiSport platform if you have access
Benefit Systems accepts a resignation submitted there as well as one made through your employer.

Ask for the date the card stops working
It deactivates at the end of the billing period in which you resign, so ask which period that is.

- At least 30 days before your renewal date. Benefit Systems' own rules put the notice terms in the contract your employer signed, so the period is your employer's to tell you. A month is common.

- What happens after you cancel
- THE PART THAT CATCHES FAMILIES: if you are the employee, resigning does not only cancel your own card. Benefit Systems' regulations state that a resignation by an employee is simultaneously a resignation from MultiSport AND MultiLife for every other user that employee registered — a partner, children, a senior parent. Everybody on your account loses their card at the same time as you. If somebody else in the household relies on theirs, tell them before you press, not after. The card stops at the END of the billing period in which you resign, not immediately, so you keep using it for the rest of that period. Because the contract is between your employer and Benefit Systems, the notice period and the cut-off date are set there rather than by you — ask HR for both, and be aware that leaving your job usually ends the card on its own, separately from any resignation you file.
