Open Settings & members
Select Plans
Choose Cancel plan and confirm

- Downgrading is not deleting, and Notion is unusually gentle about it: the paid plan runs to the end of the billing interval and then the workspace drops to Free with everything still in it. Nothing is removed. What changes is what you can ADD. A workspace you use alone stays unlimited on Free. A workspace with two or more members gets a block limit, and once it is reached you can still read, edit and reorganise everything already there but cannot create new blocks. So the risk is not losing your notes, it is a shared workspace quietly becoming read-only for new content. If that matters, remove the other members or export before the period ends.
