Write the termination out and sign it
Play requires the written form pod rygorem nieważności — an unsigned email is not a termination. It must name the MSISDN the contract covers.
Deliver it to the Obsługa Klienta correspondence address on play.pl
Play counts the day it is DELIVERED there as the day you submitted it, not the day you posted it. Send it recorded and allow for the post.
Work out the real end date
The 30 days start on the first day of the billing period AFTER the one in which your statement lands.
If Play has just changed your price, say so in the letter
Terminating in response to an operator-side change removes Play's right to the clawback.

- At least 30 days before your renewal date. Thirty days, counted from the first day of the billing period following the one in which the termination was delivered. On MIX offers the 30 days run from the day it is submitted instead.

- Two sentences in Play's own contract decide what this costs, and neither is on the help page. THE FIRST IS THE FORM. "Wypowiedzenie Umowy wymaga formy pisemnej pod rygorem nieważności" — a written, signed document, naming your number, or it is not a termination at all. And the day you are treated as having submitted it is "dzień doręczenia na adres korespondencyjny Obsługi Klienta" — the day it ARRIVES, not the day you sent it. Post sitting in a sorting office is post that has not cancelled anything, so send it recorded and start early. THE SECOND IS WHEN THE CLOCK STARTS. The 30 days run "od pierwszego dnia Okresu Rozliczeniowego następującego po Okresie Rozliczeniowym, w którym złożono oświadczenie". Deliver your letter on the 3rd and the notice does not begin until the start of next month, so you pay for this month and most of the next. Delivering it just before a billing period ends is worth up to a month of subscription. MIX offers are the exception and run 30 days from the day of submission. THE FREE EXIT NOBODY MENTIONS: if Play has changed the contract, the regulamin or the price list and you terminate on the strength of that within the window Play gives you, Play's contract says "Operatorowi nie przysługuje zwrot ulgi". A price-rise letter is a limited-time right to leave with no clawback at all. It does not apply where the change was forced by a change in the law, by a decision of the President of UKE, or by removing an unlawful clause. Otherwise, leaving inside the promotional term means repaying the discount you were given, reduced in proportion to the part of the term already served. A fixed-term contract also rolls into an indefinite one unless you give written notice 30 days before it ends.
