- What happens after you cancel
- Two things stop working the day the membership lapses, and one of them surprises people: the monthly games. Anything claimed as part of PlayStation Plus stops launching even though it is still installed on the console, and it comes back only if you resubscribe. What you actually bought is yours — games purchased at a PS Plus discount, and any redeemed packs or avatars, stay in your library permanently. The one to act on before the period ends is cloud saves. Online storage is a membership benefit, so the saves sitting in it become unreachable when the membership does. Copy anything you care about down to the console's own storage first; afterwards is too late. Online multiplayer stops as well.
