- RTL+ sells monthly plans that stop at the end of the paid month and annual plans that run to the end of their term — and the annual ones are the reason people think the cancellation failed. Cancelling an annual plan stops the renewal; it does not end the year you bought. German law now requires an online cancellation button for contracts sold online, so this can be done from the account area without writing to anyone. Keep the confirmation RTL+ sends. RTL+ is also sold bundled with Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone packages. Billed that way, the charge belongs to the operator and rtlplus.com will not show it.
