- None — cancelling takes effect straight away. Contracted terms that renew automatically; notice must be given as the agreement specifies, typically well before renewal.

- What happens after you cancel
- There is no cancel button, and looking for one wastes the time you need. Salesforce is a CONTRACT with a term, and it ends by written notice given as the agreement requires — through your account executive — before the renewal date. Auto-renewal is the default, and the notice window is usually measured in months rather than days. Find your contract, find the date, and diarise it backwards from there. Start the DATA EXPORT early. Salesforce's full export is a scheduled job that takes time to prepare and download, and it covers objects, attachments and metadata separately. Leaving it until the final week is how organisations lose their own history. Check the export includes attachments and the relationships between objects, not just record lists. Anything writing into Salesforce — forms, marketing tools, billing systems, custom integrations — needs somewhere else to write, or it starts failing on the day access ends. Map those before, not after.
