- None — cancelling takes effect straight away. Outstanding charges are billed immediately on cancellation; the store is paused or closed rather than merely downgraded.

- Confirmation email.
- What happens after you cancel
- Deactivating the store cancels the subscription at the end of the current billing cycle, and Shopify keeps the store's setup, design and data for TWO YEARS in case you come back — reactivating inside that window restores it as you left it. Two things happen straight away, though. Every app is uninstalled when the plan is cancelled, and any pending app charges are billed at that moment, so a cancellation can produce one last invoice. And a domain you bought through Shopify is a separate matter from the plan — deal with it deliberately rather than assuming it stopped too. If the reason is a quiet season rather than closing for good, Shopify's Pause and Build plan keeps the store alive at a lower cost instead of deactivating it. Deleting the store's data early is possible but final: once deleted it cannot be recovered and the store cannot be reopened.

What else are you paying for?
Find possible recurring subscriptions in your bank statement. Cancel OS reads a statement export you give it and flags the charges that look recurring, for you to confirm.
