- SkyShowtime is month to month with no commitment, so cancelling stops the next renewal and nothing else — you keep watching until the end of the period you have already paid for, and downloads stop when it ends. The common mistake is where you bought it. SkyShowtime is sold widely through app stores, telecoms and cable operators across its European markets, and when it is billed that way the SkyShowtime site shows no subscription to cancel. That empty screen is not proof you already cancelled; it means the charge belongs to whoever is on your statement. The account itself stays, so resubscribing later keeps your profiles and watchlist.
