- Confirmation email.
- What happens after you cancel
- Cancelling takes the site OFFLINE, and that happens rather than any deletion — the content stays, you can still sign in to reach billing, domains and past commerce data, and reactivating later brings the site back. Once it is offline it is no longer public, so it drops out of search results in time. The part that catches people is the domain. If you registered it through Squarespace it is a SEPARATE subscription and it keeps auto-renewing after the site is cancelled: the site bill stops and the domain bill does not. If you no longer want it, cancel the domain as well; if you do, point it somewhere before it sits attached to a dead site.

What else are you paying for?
Find possible recurring subscriptions in your bank statement. Cancel OS reads a statement export you give it and flags the charges that look recurring, for you to confirm.
