Cancelling T-Mobile Polska
About 15 minutes · Medium
Sign in at t-mobile.pl and download the termination form
T-Mobile publishes a Wniosek o rozwiązanie Umowy; the form is also reachable after signing in.
Fill in your details and the number the contract covers
Say whether you are porting the number to another operator. If you are, the notice period does not have to be observed.
Email the completed form to boa@t-mobile.pl
T-Mobile also accepts it by post or handed in at a store. Email is the only one that leaves you a timestamp.
Check your contract for the notice period before you send it
Sending it inside a fixed term is what triggers the kara umowna, not the sending itself.
Wait for the confirmation and keep it
The operator owes you a confirmation on a durable medium within 14 days, naming the date it was received and the date the contract ends.
- Notice period
- At least 30 days before your renewal date. Thirty days, and in practice counted from the start of the next billing period rather than from the day you send the form. Not required at all if you are porting the number to another operator.
- How you will know it worked
- Confirmation email.
- What happens after you cancel
- T-Mobile is the easiest of the four Polish operators to leave, because it accepts the termination BY EMAIL: the completed form goes to boa@t-mobile.pl and that is the whole mechanism. Play and Plus both demand paper. Send it and then watch for the confirmation. Under the Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej the operator has to confirm on a durable medium WITHIN 14 DAYS, and the confirmation has to name the date your statement was received and the date the contract actually ends. Those two dates are the only proof you will have if a bill turns up afterwards, so keep the message. If nothing arrives inside 14 days, chase it — an unconfirmed termination is the failure mode this whole errand exists to avoid. Do not send it early to be safe. Terminating inside a fixed term is what triggers the kara umowna: the discount you were given at signing, repaid in proportion to the part of the term you have not served. Check your end date first; the form itself costs nothing to send late and a great deal to send early. The one case where none of this applies is PORTING. If you are moving the number to another operator, that operator runs the process and the notice period is not yours to observe.
