- None — cancelling takes effect straight away.
- How you will know it worked
- Confirmation email.
- What happens after you cancel
- Trello bills PER MEMBER of a Workspace, so the fastest way to reduce a bill is often to remove people who no longer use it rather than to cancel outright — and if a charge continues after you cancel, a second Workspace with a paid member on it is the usual reason. Your boards and cards are not deleted. A free Workspace is capped on the number of open boards, so boards beyond the limit get closed rather than removed, and you can reopen them one at a time. Attachments, comments and history stay. What goes are the paid features: unlimited boards, advanced checklists, the admin and security controls, and the higher automation limits — which matters if a Butler automation is doing something people depend on. Billing is through Atlassian, so an annual plan runs to the end of its term rather than ending early.

What else are you paying for?
Find possible recurring subscriptions in your bank statement. Cancel OS reads a statement export you give it and flags the charges that look recurring, for you to confirm.
