- Export the responses before you cancel. Typeform's free tier caps how many responses you can collect and see per month, and dropping back does not delete your existing data but does put the excess out of reach behind the plan. If those answers matter — applications, orders, research — get them out as a CSV first. Your forms themselves stay in the account, so nothing you built is lost. What goes are the paid features: the removal of Typeform branding, logic jumps beyond the free allowance, integrations, file uploads and the higher response limits. A live form keeps collecting after you downgrade, but only up to the free limit — after that respondents are turned away, which is worse than the form being closed because you will not notice. Take the form down deliberately if it is finished. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for.
