- waipu.tv sells the same service on a monthly tariff and on a cheaper TWELVE-MONTH one, and the twelve-month tariff is what surprises people: cancelling stops the renewal but the year still runs to its end. Check which tariff you are on before assuming next month is your last. German law requires an online cancellation button for contracts concluded online, so the cancellation is a click in the account area rather than a letter or a phone call. Keep the confirmation waipu sends — it carries the end date, which is the only thing that matters afterwards. If you took waipu.tv through a mobile or broadband provider rather than directly, that provider bills you and has to cancel it. Recordings in the cloud recorder go when the subscription ends.
