- What happens after you cancel
- WOW is Sky Deutschland without the dish, and it carries two traps at once. First, the attractive price is usually the TWELVE-MONTH plan, not the monthly one — on that plan cancelling stops the renewal and the year still runs to its end. Second, WOW is sold as separate packages: films and series, live sport, and the premium picture-quality add-on each renew on their own, so cancelling one leaves the others charging. Check which packages are on the account and cancel each one you want stopped. Access to each runs to the end of the period paid for. German law requires an online cancellation button for online contracts, so none of this needs a letter or a phone call — and if you are being told otherwise, that is a retention conversation rather than a rule.
