Open Account Management, then Billing
Select Cancel Subscription on the plan
Confirm — the plan runs to the end of the term

- What happens after you cancel
- Cancelling turns off the renewal rather than ending anything today: the paid plan runs to the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the account then drops to Basic, with the free limits back — including the 40-minute cap on group meetings. Cloud recordings are the thing to deal with FIRST. Zoom keeps them for 30 days after the account becomes Basic and then deletes them permanently, and during those 30 days a Basic account cannot reach them — so they are neither available nor gone, which is a bad state to discover by accident. Resubscribing inside the window brings them back; after it, they are not recoverable. Download anything you want to keep before the paid period ends, not after.
